What is Innovative Design?

InnoD is a community of creatives working with campus clubs, local businesses, startups, and nonprofits on real-world creative projects to give members the opportunity to build their skills and portfolios.

First founded at UC Berkeley, InnoD has since expanded to several campuses across California, including USC, UCLA, and now UCI.

Our values

Innovative Design at UCI was founded with the same core values shared by all InnoD chapters: community, education, and accessibility.

Community

We believe that building an inclusive and diverse community is crucial to fostering professional and personal growth for our members.

Education

We celebrate curiosity and aim to provide high-quality learning experiences for all, regardless of experience or skill level.

Accessibility

We aim to create a space that is welcoming and safe for all. Inclusivity is core to what—as well as how—we create.
